It's an indescribable feeling to have your own hand-made pottery in your cupboard and be able to use it every day. Firing service
If you don't have your own ceramic kiln, find a ceramics studio near you that offers a firing service. Contact them and ask what temperatures they offer.
I recommend firing the raw piece at 950 degrees Celsius and the glaze piece at 1200-1230 degrees Celsius.
